2011 Bogong Cup Goal Procedure

We will be introducing a requirement for pilots to arrive at goal above a specified height. The purpose of this requirement is to remove the temptation to land downwind when pilots have to choose between making goal or landing into the wind.

Since pilots will be flying with 3D GPSes, it will only require a simple check of the tracklog to verify a pilots height at goal. Also, pilots who are only a little lower than the required height can receive a penalty and still be scored as arriving at goal.
