2011 Bogong Cup Live TrackingI have developed a mobile phone app which updates a database on the internet, and associated programs which run on the internet to create .kml output. Pilots with a mobile phone (not i-phones, but most other phones) that includes a GPS and mobile internet can load the app now and test it. My phone (Nokia 6760 slide) uses about 1MB for 4 hours of transmitting data. 'Spectators' can access the tracks using a .kml file opened with Google Earth. Google Earth will zoom into the current task and open the tracks, then update the tracks every 30 seconds.
